x St. Christopher 1890 (28 Feb.) envelope to St. John´s, Antigua, bearing Antigua 1884-87 CA, perf. 14, 1d. rose block of twelve (6x2) with each vertical pair sharing fine "A12" obliterator, St. Kitts c.d.s. at foot and with arrival c.d.s. (1.3) on reverse; the envelope slightly reduced at left, opened-out and with a few tears at foot clear of the block. A very rare and spectacular provisional franking, and almost certainly the largest multiple used in this manner. Originally accompanied by R.P.S. Certificate (1984), not now present.
