x Orange Free State Issued Stamps 1900 V.R.I. overprints, First Setting study on leaves with a range of multiples and varieties, including 1/2d. " 1/2" omitted (2), "V.R.I." omitted in pair with normal, small " 1/2 (3), no stop after "I" and surcharge double; 1d. "d" omitted, wider space between "1" and "d", "I" omitted, "1" omitted and "V.R.I." omitted; 2d. pane of sixty, block of thirty and no stop after "R"; 2 1/2d. on 3d. with no stop after "V" and a block of four with one showing Roman "I" and antique "2" in fraction; 3d. pane of sixty, "V.R.I." omitted (used), a block of sixteen with faint double overprints and a block of four with faint inverted and reversed offset impressions; 4d. block of forty-two and no stop after "V"; 6d. carmine no stop after "V" (2), "6" omitted, a corner block of nine (used) and a single on cover to Bloemfontein; 1/- "I" omitted and spaced stop, wider space between "1" and "s" and no stop after "V", and 5/- no stop after "V" and wider space between "5" and "s"; several of the varieties contained in multiples with normal.
