North Borneo 1939 Pictorial Issue used: $1 strip of three, $2 vertical strip of five and a horizontal pair and $5 vertical pair, all cancelled with Sandakan c.d.s. on 1941 (14 June) large piece showing triangular-framed "passed for transmission/20/north borneo" h.s. in magenta; two pieces of brown paper affixed over on the $2 values, and traces of soiling in places though one of the highest dollar frankings recorded.
