Mauritius Postal Stationery 1922 (30 Sept.) 2c. brown mourning envelope from Curepipe to Port Louis, a used example of this rarity, uprated with 2c. brown overlapping the black printed corner. Whilst 20,000 of these envelopes were ordered from De La Rue & Co. in 1916, this is the only recorded example - Indian Ocean Study Circle article on this item which accompanies the lot.
