Falkland Islands 1891 (21 Nov.) envelope, with Government crest on flap, per H.M.S. "Magpie" to Lady Spearman, London, bearing 1885-87 1d. brownish claret "block" of three with one bisected diagonally, each neatly cancelled with cork obliterator (Type 1B/91) and additionally tied by superb "southampton/ship letter" c.d.s. for 5 January 1892, the reverse with manuscript notation "send this envelope to Tony. H.M.S. Magpie just arrived. Harry Blicker on Board"; the envelope with tear through top through opening though clean and most attractive. Barton Na1.
