Falkland Islands The "Frank" Handstamps 1869 (4 Jan.) envelope from the Governor, W.Robinson (initialled at lower left), to the Manager of the London and Westminster Bank, London, showing fine strike of the framed "falkland/paid/islands" in black at upper left, "Crown/registered" h.s. and "falkland/islands" double-ring d.s., all the earliest recorded usages, and red arrival d.s. (6.3) at lower right; the envelope with light central vertical crease, pinholes at left and some slight soiling.
