Bermuda Early Letters and Handstamps Transit Mail 1833 (9 May) entire letter from Wilem Carbery at Demerara (not docketed as such though known to emanate from there by photocopies of a similar letter with identical markings to the same addressee) to his sister in Philadelphia, rated "12 1/2" in red, showing "ship" h.s. and New York c.d.s. in red and, on reverse, manuscript "Hamilton Bermuda June 27th 1833. Forwarded by Your Most Obt Servt Wm B Perot" and with "p Schr Brilliant Via New York" alongside; face panel with small fault at foot though a most unusual cover.
