x Elizabeth II, a collection of mis-struck coins (38) in cupro-nickel and bronze, some with Royal Mint certificates, comprising: 14 coins off-struck, without a collar - Halfcrown, Florin, Shilling, Shilling (both types), Sixpence (2), Threepence, all 1964, and Shilling (2), English shields, 1957, 1966, Sixpence (5), 1961, 1965 (2), 1966, 1967; Shilling, 1962, struck on a thin flan; Threepence, 1964, struck in nickel; 50 Pence, 1978, struck on a circular 10p blank (2)*; 10 Pence, 1975, struck on a bronze or mixed alloy blank*; another, similar, possibly of mixed alloys; 10 Pence, 1977, struck on a small flan intended for a 50 Piastre of Lebanon*; 10 Pence, 1971, struck on a thin flan; another, 1977, also on a thin flan (this also weakly struck and slightly bent); 10 Pence, 1977, off-struck on a nickel blank; 5 Pence, 1975, struck on a bronze blank*; 5 Pence, 1977, struck on a thin blank; 2 Pence, 1971, struck in nickel; 2 Pence, 1975, struck on a very small flan (22 m.m.); Twopence (decimal) overstruck on a Sixpence, 1962 (cupro-nickel), much of the undertype still visible; 1 Pence, 1979, struck on a thin blank; another, date not visible, weakly struck on a wafer-thin blank; 1 Pence, 1978, struck in copper-nickel; Half Pence, 1976, with half of reverse design missing; Half Pence, 1978, off-struck; correctly struck normal issues are included for the sake of comparison (9); together with Victoria, Penny, 1860, off-struck, Half-Penny, 1860, with retrograde impressions on obverse and reverse, and Farthing, 1860, considerably off-struck; also a double-headed Penny of George VI, this possibly an unofficial concoction, in annotated plastic sheets; the Victorian coins fair, others very fine to uncirculated, an interesting collection (47) Estimate £ 400-500 Four certificates from the Royal Mint are included for those pieces indicated by an asterisk
