Edward VI, (1547-1553), third period, 1550-1553, Sovereign, 11.11g, m.m. tun/tun over y possibly, crowned half length figure of king wearing armour right, holding orb in left hand and shouldering sword in right hand, legend reads hiber rex, rev. crowned shield with supporters, er below on scroll (c.f Schneider 691- same dies; N.1927; S.2450), on a full round flan, slight double striking in obverse legends and light marks in obverse field, very fine, rare Estimate £ 6,000-8,000
