Russia, Alexander I, AE copper pattern or novodel (?) 5-Kopecks, 1802, em, eagle without initials, rev. value and date, initials below; of neater design with a plain edge (Br.-; Uzd.-); together with another specimen for comparison, normal issue with corded edge (Br.102; Uzd.3002), the first stained, otherwise about extremely fine; the second with flan flaws, very fine (2) Estimate £ 200-300 The exact status of the first coin is unknown. Neither Brekke nor Uzdenikov list this type with a plain edge. It is possibly a later striking.
