J.H. Reid´, very fine, with enclosure slip (4) Estimate £ 130-170 426220 Sapper Sidney Muncaster born Preston, Lancashire; served during the Great War with the 419th (West Lancashire) Field Company Royal Engineers, and was killed in action on the Western Front, 23.7.1917, he is buried in Hop Store Cemetery, Belgium. There are two ´Harry Shires´ and several ´John Steele´s´ listed on the Commonwealth War Graves list. 7192 Private James H. Reid, 1st Battalion Canadian Infantry (Western Ontario Regiment), died 15.6.1915, and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial.
