M.G.C.), good very fine Estimate £ 300-320 M.M. London Gazette 20.8.1919 36268 Sjt. (A./C.Q.M. Sjt.) Green, A.W., Machine Gun Corps. (Mesopotamia) 36268 Company Quarter Master Sergeant Arthur Wilmott Green, M.M., enlisted as 8024 Private, Royal Lancashire Regiment, and advanced to Colour Sergeant; served abroad from 15.1.1915; transferred 275th Company, Machine Gun Regiment, as part of 15th (Indian ) Division, September 1917. Company Quarter Master Sergeant Green´s Military Medal was probably awarded for the Occupation of Hit, or the action at Khan Baghdadi.
