M.G.C.), suspension reaffixed, nearly very fine Estimate £ 300-320 M.M. London Gazette 16.8.1917 18121 L./Cpl. Stevenson, C. ,M.G. Corps 18121 Corporal Charles Stevenson, M.M., enlisted as 8629 Private, Royal Irish Rifles; served in France from 25.1.1915; advanced to Sergeant; transferred to 7th Company, Machine Gun Corps, on its formation as part of 25th Division, 12.1.1916. Corporal Stevenson´s Military Medal was probably awarded for the Battle of Messines, June 1917.
