R.F.A.); British War Medal (21218 Bmbr. W. Armstrong. R.A.); India General Service 1908-35, G.V.R., 1st ´Kaisar-i-Hind´ type, Calcutta Mint issue, one clasp, Waziristan 1921-24 (M-33661 Pte. W.C. Armstrong. R.A.S.C.), edge bruising, all obverses worn (3) Estimate £ 50-80 M.M. London Gazette 17.6.1919 21218 Bomdr. Armstrong, W., 31st D.A.C. (Lemington-on-Tyne). Private William C. Armstrong, M.M., served throughout the Great War with the Royal Artillery, and is entitled to a 1914-15 Star and Victory Medal; transferred to the Royal Army Service Corps, and served in the operations in Waziristan.
