New Zealand The Chalon Head Issues 1862 John Davies Printing 3d. brown-lilac used singles (2), one with good to very large margins all round showing portion of adjoining stamp at top (slightly thinned) the other with close to very large margins; also a used selection of 6d. shades (12) comprising brown (2), grey-brown, black-brown (2, one marginal from the left of the sheet) and red-brown (7) including horizontal strip of four with close to enormous margins showing portions of four adjoining stamps; a generally fine and attractive assembly.
