New Zealand The Chalon Head Issues 1855 London Printing 1d. dull carmine, just clear to very large margins showing portion of adjoining stamp at foot, lightly struck by two oval of bars cancels leaving a clear profile; tiny surface scuff inked by one of the cancels, in no way detracting from the fine appearance of this rare stamp in a wonderfully rich deep shade.
