Straits Settlements India used in Straits Settlements Singapore 1855 (21 Feb.) entire docketed as from Singapore addressed to Hamburg, marked "via Trieste", bearing 1854 4a. blue and red, 3rd. printing, a horizontal pair just touched at left, both cancelled (not tied) by central diamond of hollow dots, showing blue manuscript "6 1/4" (deleted) and "8 1/2" with arrival c.d.s. (30.4) on reverse; some wear etc along filing folds. A fine and rare franking. Photo Estimate S$ 15,000-18,000
