Straits Settlements Early Letters and Handstamps Penang 1845 (27 May) sailor´s entire letter addressed to "Chelsey Hospital, Near London", headed "Richard Spink Seaman on bord (sic) the Honl Companys Steamer Nemesis", countersigned by Commanding Officer, showing oval-framed "india" in red, London handstruck "2" (letter should have been prepaid 1d.) and, on reverse, arrival d.s.
