Turkish flag flying over the mountains of Karadag, a cannon in the forground, name and date 1279 on scroll in exergue, 36mm., 23.5 g. (ME.224; NP.1106), pierced for suspension, very fine Estimate £ 100-150 Awarded in silver only to the Ottoman Forces and Artillery Brigades commanded by Omar Pasha which defeated the uprising in the Karadag region (Montenegro) of the Balkans.
