x British Columbia and Vancouver Island British Columbia 1865-67 3d., De La Rue Queen Victoria design dummy stamps, two blocks of four in contrasting shades of blue used as ink recipes, each affixed to piece from the Ink Recipe book and with details of the ink make up, one (one stamp with surface fault) marked "3d. Columbia" in "Rectified blue", the other in a lighter shade marked "Rectified blue" and with notation "Milori blue is generally used in place of this ink" with piece bearing a different dummy stamp 3d. design block of four in "Persian red" on reverse.
