x Canada Wreck Covers 1892 (15 Jan.) envelope from New Westminster, B.C. to England, bearing 5c. brownish grey cancelled with c.d.s. and showing a fair strike of the boxed "Saved from wreck/of s.s. ´Eider´" cachet in violet alongside London Paid c.d.s. (4.3), the reverse with Found Open and Officially Sealed label tied by Leeds arrival d.s. (5.3); some light water stains as usual for items recovered from this wreck; also loose 5c. with 1c. and 5c. with 2c. showing fine complete strikes of the same cachet.
