x CANADA 1893 Widowed Queen Issue Covers 1897 (30 Sept.) envelope registered from St. Catherine´s Centre, Montreal to Bombay and redirected to Pondicherry, bearing 20c. vermilion in combination with Small Queen 5c. brownish grey each cancelled with c.d.s., showing "R" in oval h.s. and part hooded London Registered transit d.s. (9.10) in violet, the reverse with Sea Post Office (25.10) and Pondicherry (3.11) c.d.s.; the envelope with some light soiling though a scarce stamp on cover to an unusual destination.
