x Canada The Small Queen Issue Five Cents Montreal Printings, Perforated 11 1/2x12 1877 (4 Aug.) envelope "Per Canadian Packet" to England, handed in on the Intercolonial Railway at Riviere Du Loup and showing their oval dated cachet for 4 August in blue and Rimouski transit c.d.s. for the same day on reverse, bearing 5c. deep olive-green twice cancelled with "canadian pkt." c.d.s. for 13 August and with large manuscript "7 1/2" British charge in pencil. A scarce franking of the 5c. per 1/2oz. preferred rate to the United Kingdom.
