x United States of America 1847 5c. red-brown horizontal marginal strip of five from the right of the sheet on 1849 (26 July) entire letter from Mount Vernon, New Jersey to Mansfield, England, cancelled by two red manuscript pen strokes and carried on Cunard Line Caledonia, overpaid 1 cent with "19" credit mark in red on front and red "america/liverpool/paid" datestamp (14 Aug.), the reverse with Mansfield c.d.s. in green (15 Aug.).
