Mauritius 1858 (27 Apr.) entire (no side flaps) to Cape Town, bearing 1858 "four-pence" green horizontal pair with good to very large margins, both neatly cancelled and tied by dumb obliterator and showing, on reverse, despatch and arrival (17.6) datestamps. A very rare franking paying double the 1/2oz. Colonial standard rate. B.P.A. Certificate (1980). S.G. 35 Estimate £ 6,000-7,000 Note: Multiples of this stamp are rare and on cover exceedingly rare. This is believed to be the finest of the very few known.
