Germany Baden 1864 (15 Nov.) extraordinary mixed Country franking accepted by the Post Office; Baden 3kr. rose stationery envelope (Mi. U9A) up-rated with Switzerland 1862 10c. blue adhesive, used to Lienheim/Amt . Waldshut tied by Reihen circular datestamp. The Postal rate of 1855 for a letter was 20c. (=6 kreuzer). In this instance the 3kr. stationery envelope was accepted as full prepayment of the outstanding 10 centimes. A remarkable and possibly unique usage. Signed Seeger BPP.
