Argentina Buenos Ayres 1864 (12 Oct.) entire letter to New York "Via Bordeaux" bearing France 1862 80c. deep rose tied by anchor with a good strike of "conf. argentine/saintonge" octagonal datestamp (Salles 1.030), boxed "àffranchissement/insuffisant" in red overstruck by "u.s. notes/141" with New York c.d.s. at right, manuscript "42" rate mark; two vertical folding creases.
