Military General Service 1793-1814, eight clasps, Talavera, Busaco, Fuentes d´Onor, Cuidad Rodrigo, Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Toulouse (John Warner 45th. Foot), last part of Christian name, surname, and unit all erased and neatly engraved in serif capitals, clasps re-assembled, top clasp sprung at one side, otherwise very fine Estimate £ 200-300 No man of the name of John Warner appears on the M.G.S. Medal roll for the 45th Foot. It is possible, however, that a John Warner of the Regiment would have been entitled to the above medal had he lived, and that it was ´put together´ by his family.
