R.), extremely fine (2) Estimate £ 40-50 4591, Later 240090 Private Charles Frederick Clements, born 1894; joined the Territorial Army, 1911; enlisted in the 1st Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, at the outbreak of War, as number 4591, serving as a Signaller. Went to France, 31.3.1915; died in England whilst serving with the Regiment as number 240090, 27.3.1920, and is buried in Cheltenham Borough Cemetery. The Pair sold with a copy of the recipient´s M.I.C., which confirms his two numbers.
