R.F.C.), extremely fine, with two Identity Discs (Godfrey, E.J., R.F.C., 27355) and (E.J. Godfrey, 42167, 10 Linc, C.E.) (2) Estimate £ 50-60 42167 Private Egbert James Godfrey, enlisted Royal Flying Corps, 29.4.1916 and transferred to 10th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, 23.9.1917; discharged as ´sick´ 22.2.1918. Godfrey had served overseas with the Royal Flying Corps but not with Lincolnshire Regiment. Sold with copied Receipt of Attestation showing his transfer to the Lincolns and extract from the Silver War Badge Roll.
