Deeming as Temporary Second Lieutenant, Land Forces, dated 26.6.1918; Certificate of Discharge, dated 17.7.1918, and named letter to recipient on occasion of him relinquishing his commission, dated 8.3.1921, with envelope of issue Five: Sergeant F. Allen, Sherwood Foresters 1939-1945 Star; Italy Star; Defence and War Medals; General Service 1918-62, G.VI.R., one clasp, Palestine 1945-48 (4985636 Sjt. F. Allen. Foresters.), extremely fine, medals in respective original named card boxes of issue, the Second War Medals´ box with enclosure slip and addressed to ´Mr. F. Allen Second Lieutenant William Deeming (formerly 145777 Corporal), enlisted Royal Garrison Artillery at Nottingham, 9.12.1915; commissioned Temporary Second Lieutenant R.G.A., 17.6.1918 and served with the latter as such in the French Theatre of War from, 4.10.1918. 4985636 Sergeant Frederick Allen, born 1922; enlisted 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters, 10.3.1941; transferred Army Reserve 7.12.1946.
