An early Edwardian Uniform of the Fife Light Horse A scarlet tunic, without facings, of similar style, and with identical buttons, to that in the previous Lot, but with six buttons in front and the addition of 3/4in. silver Vandyke lace inside the black piping on the collar and cuffs, the latter also having loops of silver braid; shoulder-cords of plaited silver chain-gimp bearing Colonel´s badges of rank in gold embroidery (silver Russia braid partially detached from collar) See illustration Note: A label stitched into the lining of this uniform states that it was worn by Colonel J Anstruther-Thomson at Holyroodhouse during a visit by King Edward VII in 1903 Estimate £ 120-180
