James Reginald Gleadell 288 Sergeant James Reginald Gleadell joined the Falkland Island Volunteer Force, 23.6.1909 and was part of approximately 170 men who formed the defence force of the island during the Great War, he was part of Islands Rifle Team that regularly featured at Bisley Rifle Competition, and won the Junior Kolapore Cup in 1930.
