Heyward 8/Devon R. 17727 Private Henry Thomas Heyward, M.M., native of Tiverton, Devon; served during the Great War with "C" Company 8th Battalion Devonshire Regiment and was wounded in actions around Noordemhoek, Ypres, he died of those wounds, 7.10.1917, and is buried in Godewaersvelde British Cemetery.
