A Standard-Belt of the 2nd Life Guards A massive cloth belt, faced with one wide and two narrow rows of gold oakleaf lace, showing scarlet cloth lights between, with fine cast buckle, tip and slide of gilt metal, the buckle inscribed with regimental title and date 1660, the tip bearing QC above WATERLOO JUNE 1815 within a laurel wreath and scroll inscribed with other battle-honours (lacking spring-clip attachment); together with a gold-laced bridoon rein and another part of a bridle of the same regiment (lot) See illustration Estimate £ 250-300
