Gds.), very fine or better, mounted as originally worn, with copy of service papers (6) Estimate £ 140-180 30581 Guardsman Frederick Lewis Durkin, born 1901; joined as Driver Royal Army Service Corps (T.A.), 16.12.1920; transferred 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, 29.8.1921 and served with the regiment during the Second World War, postings abroad including between 27.6.1944-17.12.1944; discharged 7.3.1945, after 23 years and 191 days service with the Colours.
