Military General Service 1793-1814, four clasps, Corunna, Vittoria, Nive, Toulouse (G. Gilbert, 2nd. Foot.), edge bruising, therefore very fine Estimate £ 1,200-1,400 Private George Gilbert, wounded right cheek at Salamanca; wounded left side of the neck from gun shot; discharged 1814; entitled to the 2nd Foot Meritorious Service Cross for 10 Years´ Service. Although the Pyrenees clasp claimed, not allowed due to illness.
