Indian Mutiny 1857-58, one clasp, Lucknow (Lieut. W.D. Nunn, 1st Bn. 20th Regt.), part of surname re-engraved, light contact marks, therefore very fine Estimate £ 80-120 Captain William David Nunn, commissioned Ensign 20th Regiment, 1855, and promoted Lieutenant later the same year; served at the Siege and fall of Sebastopol from, 15.7.1855; also at the capture of Kimbourn (entitled to Crimea Medal, Sebastopol clasp; Turkish Crimea Medal); served during the Indian Mutiny Campaign 1857-58, including the actions of Chanda, Umeerpore, and Sultanpore, Siege and Capture of Lucknow, subsequent operations in Oude and affairs of Mohan, Hussengunge, Meangunge (as Orderly Officer to Brigadier Evelegh), Chunda, Fort of Musjeerdia and Bankee; Captain 1859; retired Major 1872.
