1894-97 Sixtieth Birthday of the Dowager Empress Second Printing Proofs Stamp-Size Proofs on Thin, Laid Paper The stocks of unsurcharged stamps were running low, so further supplies needed to be printed. The later printings were in brighter colours and there are further differences in the paper and the gum. 1ca. to 6ca. in the colours of the second print, horizontal pairs, a couple of imperfections.
