China 1897 New Currency Surcharges LW2 1/2c. on 3ca. yellow variety imperforate, a vertical pair, pane 1 [13/17] showing cracked dot of yang type C, part to large part original gum; slight gum ageing. Unusual. Photo Estimate HK$ 3,000-5,000 Little is known about this variety, a top margin imperforate single was sold in the Roseway sale in 1963 and a single from the left of the pane in the Livingston sale in 1976.
