China Russian Post Office chefoo: 1901 (5 Oct.) envelope registered from Port Arthur to Germany bearing, on the reverse, Kitai 1k., 2k. (2), 3k., 5k., 7k. and 10k.. tied by type 1 Chefoo c.d.s. with Chefoo and Shanghai bilingual c.d.s., Shanghai Russian Post Office and Kalle arrival c.d.s.; the front with additional despatch c.d.s., handstruck registration mark (Port Arthur?) partly obscured by Chefoo registration label and "yokohama a marseille/no.8" octagonal datestamp and part boxed Paquebot.
