China The Boxer Rebellion The China Expeditionary Force A collection of postcards and photographs showing soldiers and uniforms from the different legation guards and includes a straight-line handstamp "british legation guard"; a fascinating group which includes some very scarce photographs including two groups of the 2nd Battalion Cameron Highlanders in China 1909 (c.), a large photograph (265x205mm) showing a large group of the different nationalites present in the legation guards which includes soldiers of the Cameron Highlanders and a group of officers of Queen´s Own Rajput Light Infantry (240x180mm) taken in 1909.
