Hong Kong King George V 1921-26 specimen: 1c., 2c. blue-green, 4c., 8c. grey, 8c. orange, 10c. and 20c. to $5, each in a horizontal strip of three overprinted "specimen" and affixed to pieces of folio pages cancelled by "postes et telegraphs/madagascar/collection/de/berne"h.s. in red; a rare and appealing set. The 50c. from the top of the page dated "6 Avril 1925" Estimate HK$ 60,000-70,000Note: Madagascar affixed their specimen reference stamps to pages in a ledger, ensuring each was cancelled by their handstamp. The 1895-1912 section was generally arranged by country whilst the 1912-28 section was arranged in chronological order, without regard to geographical location, thus the values issued after 1928 are not included.
