Hong Kong King Edward VII 1904-06 specimen type d9: $1 purple and sage-green, $5 purple and blue-green and $10 slate and orange on blue, all on chalky paper, part to large part original gum; $10 gum wrinkle. Exceedingly rare and probably unique. Photo Estimate HK$ 80,000-100,000literature: Specimen Stamps of the British Colonies, Marcus Samuel ($1 illustrated, plate 14) This overprint was used by De la Rue between 1904-07, during the changeover to MCA watermarked paper.
