"Lady Nelson", torpedoed by the German submarine U-161 at Castries, St. Lucia, envelope (stamp floated off) from Castries to Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia, showing two despatch c.d.s. and showing "Received without contents", "Postage Stamp Detached before Receipt" and "Received in bad condition" New York Post Office cachets in violet, all applied at Morgan Annex, the reverse with piece of brown sealing tape tied by U.S. Post Office Officially Sealed label in black.
