"Ohio", struck a pinnacle at the entrance to Hiekish Narrows, British Columbia, 20 August postcard (stamp floated off) from San Francisco (address not apparent) and with fine "Delayed & damaged by sinking/of S.S. OHIO, Aug, 26, 1909./Recovered Oct. 23. 1909." cachet in violet. The sole example of mail recovered from this disaster. Also a popstcard and photograph of the vessel.
