"Pomona", struck Monterey Rock, 60 miles to the north of San Francisco, struck another rock and subsequently abandoned, U.S. 2c. envelope (additional stamps floated off) from Los Angeles to Arcata, California showing a good strike of the often faint and incomplete "from wreck of s.s. pomona/march 17 1908" in pink.
