x Long Island 1916 (May) First Issue Surcharged On Turkish Fiscal Stamps 1/2d. on 20pa green and buff, 1d. on 10pa. carmine and buff and 21/2d. on 1pi. violet and buff, unused with large part original gum; the 1d. and 21/2d. with light vertical creases, not detracting from the fresh and fine appearance of this very rare set, with only 12, 11 and 13 unused examples recorded respectively.
