SCBI 20 (Mack), no. 1256 (same dies?; N.828 var.; S.1182 var.), a pleasing tone, about extremely fine, rare variety Estimate £ 500-600A very rare and interesting variety of the hammer cross issue with the appearance of a heavy chin but without a beard. This bust is known only for this mint and moneyer.
