Henry VI, first reign, annulet-trefoil sub-issue, Groat, 3.64g., Calais, i.m. II/V, trefoil to left of crown, and after posui, annulets at neck, one annulet in third quarter of rev. (N.1427 var.; S.1854; W.14), very slightly off-centre, otherwise extremely fine and rare thus Estimate £ 350-450provenance: P. Finn list 17, 1999, no. 228 ´This is the best specimen I have seen; for example there were 8 in the Reigate sale (lots 240 and 241) but this is much superior to any of them´ (P. Finn).
